Thanksgiving
Brooklynn painted her own nails! I went upstairs to see what the guys were doing. My dad and Chris were playing xbox and B was sitting quietly behind them painting her nails. They had no idea she was even in the room! Thankfully she was being very careful and didn't make a mess with the nail polish. She was very proud of her paint job!
Chris has a quadcopter that he played with and we watched from the second story as he flew it in the entry way.
Sweet Bryn's first thanksgiving!
My dad had to work on Black Friday so we visited him at work for lunch.
Friday night we went bowling
Unfortunately I ended up with a stomach bug that came on while we were on our way home from bowling, but we had a blast and always enjoy visiting my family!!

our fur baby
These are just some recent pictures of our fur baby. We love this pup!
Our friends Maddie and Lindsay took him on an overnight trip to League City.
....and I got this video of my dog paddle boarding. I couldn't believe Scout stayed on the board.
And that video was loved and talked about with our college group, so when it was time for our leadership retreat shirts...it just made sense that Scout on a paddleboard with a GoPro would be the shirt. Why not?! :) They were a big hit.
We got a lot of rain a few weeks ago and he was a dirty pup!
We've caught him in Chris' chair a few times recently. He is allowed on the furniture, we had just never seen him sleeping in the La-Z-Boy!

5 year anniversary trip
Chris and I celebrated FIVE years of marriage this year! Can't believe it's already been 5 years. This season of life is SOO BUSY right now, so we celebrated with an overnight stay in Austin.
We started out at Homeslice Pizza. Delicious. Would definitely recommend it.
I saw Hey Cupcake next door and HAD to have a Red Velvet with cream. Delicious.
We stayed at the Omni in downtown Austin. It was fancy!
The night we got into Austin was the same night as the A&M football opener. Chris found a place called Moviehouse & Eatery. We watched the game on a huge movie screen from electric leather chairs where we could push a button and get more food/drink. It was AWESOME! A little pricy, but totally worth it.
The next day we drove to San Marcos and shopped at the endless outlet stores for a few hours. My sweet husband said he was taking me shopping and I had a minimum amount I had to spend. He never complained and said he enjoyed himself, although he bought a few things too. ;) So glad I get to live life with that man! Here's to many many many more years!

family time
This past weekend we took a quick trip to my parents' house. It was a great time with family!
That afternoon we had some time to hang out at the house and swim.
Love these people!! We had a blast and we were sad we only got to stay about 36 hours, but short visits are better than none!
