When I was in Tyler this weekend, my friend Sarah and I went to eat at Posados. They seated us in this booth. If you'll notice from the picture, there is no seat on the other side of the table. So we had to sit next to each other on this one-sided booth. So we stared at this red wall the whole time! We both thought it was strange and hilarious and I thought I would share. :)

7 months!
Chris and I are going to give blogging a try. Seems like the thing to do now, so why not? :) We've been married 7 months today! It has been the best 7 months of my life. Marriage is truly a blessing and the past 7 months have flown by!!
As most of you know, we are in the process of purchasing our first home. We are looking to close by April 23 and move in late May-early June. We are soo very excited to have our own house. (I told Scout this weekend that he's going to get a yard to play in and he was excited too!)
Here are some pictures of the house as it is now with the current owners.

We had a very few days this weekend! Chris was asked to lead worship for an hour of Sunrise to Sunset worship event Flashpoint was having, so he left for Tyler on Thursday afternoon. I was supposed to work Thursday and Friday nights, but I was super bummed that I couldn't go to Tyler. So I called in on Friday and spent a few days in East Texas also! I led worship with him on Saturday morning (at 7am!) and then Chris came back to College Station and I went on to Longview to spend some time with my family. I really enjoyed hanging out with my parents and sisters. I wish Chris could have come too, but I was glad to see them.
Chris is now the voice of Aggie Softball, so he had a game to announce on Saturday and Sunday. He is a natural and LOVES it. This is a clip of him announcing the line-up at a game a couple of weeks ago.
